Dear Neighbor,
As you may know, I am running to serve as your next Civil Court Judge. I’m reaching out because I wanted to make sure you know that I value your support.
I am a lifelong Staten Islander. As a graduate of St. Joseph Hill Academy, I grew up in West Brighton and continue to live and work on Staten Island with my husband and two young boys. I’m running for judge so I can continue serving the community that I love and call home. Like many of you, I know the struggles of balancing work, life, and family. However, I remain focused on doing the work necessary to create a better future for all our children and to positively impact our borough as a whole.
I have dedicated my career to public service. I am the Principal Law Clerk to New York Supreme Court Justice Ralph Porzio. I was a supervisor and litigator with the Administration for Children’s Services, where I advocated daily for the protection of abused and neglected children. However, I am not the only member of my family in public service.
I’m the wife of one of “New York’s Strongest” and my husband is a proud union member and civil servant. I’m the daughter of a Dock Builder. My sister is an Army veteran of the Iraq War, which inspired my work with veterans at the Mayor’s Office of Veterans Affairs. My family has taught me the value of hard work, sacrifice, and service to others.
I am proud to have earned the endorsement of the Republican and Conservative parties, the Uniformed Sanitationmen’s Association and the New York City District Council of Carpenters, along with that of NYPD’s PBA, DEA, SBA, LBA, and CEA, and the Supreme Court Officers Association. Most notably, I hope that I will earn your support, to ensure that all have access to justice.
I assure you, that my experience, conservative values, and integrity make me the right choice for Civil Court Judge. If elected, every person that appears before me will be treated with respect and given equal justice under the law. I hope to have your vote on November 8th.
