Waterfront Kite Festival
WHERE: Brooklyn Bridge Park, Brooklyn Waterfront from Washington Street to Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn
WHEN: Saturday, May 13, 11am-3pm
WHAT: This fun festival takes place at the sports field of Pier 5, uniting S.T.E.A.M. concepts, the Caribbean’s rich history of kite flying and outdoor adventure. Fly kites, enjoy live entertainment, browse lots of food trucks and more.

Kites at the Pier Festival
WHERE: Chelsea Avenue Beach, Pier Village, Long Branch, NJ
WHEN: Saturday, April 22, 9am-4pm
WHAT: See beautiful kites of all shapes and sizes as they soar above the beach. Enjoy live music, shopping, food and children’s activities including inflatable rides, carousel rides, arcade games, face painting, henna art and more.

Kite Day
WHERE: Terhune Orchards, 330 Cold Soil Rd., Princeton, NJ
WHEN: Saturday-Sunday, May 6 and 7, 10am-5pm
WHAT: This soaring spring festival is a great time to explore Terhune. Children will use pre-made kits to create their own kites. Enjoy country music, pony rides, games, food and more. Also meet barnyard friends, dwarf Nigerian goats, donkeys and a bunny!

Wildwoods International Kite Festival
WHERE: Wildwoods Convention Center, 4501 Boardwalk, Wildwood, NJ
WHEN: Friday, May 26, 12-9pm; Saturday, May 27, 8am-8pm; Sunday, May 28, 8am-7pm; Monday, May 29, 9:30am-2pm.
WHAT: The event begins on Friday with the official Unlocking of the Beach ceremony. Other activities include a kite sales, a Friday night social, auctions and more.
