Learn about the passengers, heroes and history of the most famous shipwreck of all time at the NYC debut of Titanic: The Exhibition, opening Nov. 11 in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village. The exhibit tells the story of the RMS Titanic, a British passenger liner that sank in the Atlantic Ocean after hitting an iceberg on April 15, 1912.
The exhibit provides a great all-ages opportunity for both children and adults to learn about the legendary ship. It will feature a selection of personal artifacts never-before-seen in the United States. The items will be displayed to help tell the emotional stories of the ship’s passengers and crew. Over 200 objects will be on display, including photographs, hand-written letters, wayward keepsakes and other personal belongings. There’s even an opportunity to touch a real iceberg.
Visitors of all ages will experience life-size recreations of some of the ship’s interiors, showing the stark contrast between the high-end luxury suites and humble third-class cabins. They’ll learn about the history of the ship through audio guides, which will feature music and sound effects.

Organized by award-winning exhibitions creator and producer Musealia in partnership with Fever, the exhibit’s NYC debut follows its successful run in London. Historian Claes-Göran Wetterholm is the curator of the exhibit.
“The history of the Titanic continues to fascinate people around the world and by re-telling its story we are able to honor the stories of the lives lost and remember the ship that was said to be ‘unsinkable.’ The exhibition’s debut in New York comes at a timely moment with 2022 marking the 110th year anniversary of the tragedy,” a Fever spokesperson said. “Bringing the experience to New York comes full-circle as New York City was the original destination of the Titanic.”

About the RMS Titanic
The tragedy of the Titanic has fascinated and touched people emotionally for generations. At its time, Titanic was the largest ship afloat and dubbed “unsinkable.” But during its maiden voyage from Southampton, UK, to New York City, the ship struck an iceberg and sank on April 15, 1912. More than 1,500 passengers and crew died, with many giving up their lives to save others.
Titanic: The Exhibition isn’t the first tribute to the passengers and history of the wreck. The Titanic Memorial Lighthouse at the South Street Seaport is dedicated to the passengers and crew, serving as a place where people can stop by and reflect on the tragedy.
